It's great to have signed a new partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).
UCLAN will use our multi-award winning, world class event management software to keep its students safe as they return to campus and for a wide range of corporate events throughout the year.
UCLAN’s Senior Events Manager, Jenny Heaton, says the wide variety of large corporate events held at the Preston City Centre campus attract thousands of visitors. “Safety is always our priority so choosing ZIMS' cutting-edge system ensures we’re at the forefront of event safety provision. It will allow us to quickly and effectively manage incidents during an event while the recording and reporting system will allow us to create much-needed digital evidence logs,” she says.
Working with a university is a first for our team. Our ZIMS System is incredibly versatile and it's so important for us to be able to expand into new verticals, especially now, when Covid-19 is having such a devastating impact on the events and sports industries.
Being able to onboard our first university is a pivotal moment for us and we’re hoping to reach more universities soon and support them with their events, security and even student welfare needs for mental health and safeguarding, such is the diversity of what we’re able to offer in one platform. Bringing different functional areas into one communications platform, so they can all do their job more efficiently and safely is exactly what we’re about.
